* $35 SPECIAL
- ACTOR KICK-ASS WORKOUT

NO BULL SCENE STUDY for MEMBERS and NON-MEMBERS

On Sundays at 7:15 pm - May 6, 13, 20, 27; June 3, 10, 17, 24

In this tightly focused, no bull scene study workout, instructor PETER HOLDEN (Executive Producer/CEO of the film company Rat Bastard Productions, 30-year actor/coach ( IMDB.com) gets down to the nitty-gritty of honest acting, helping actors develop the skills required for personal and professional success: In-depth script analysis; making active, specific choices; character development; and finding the truth in each moment of their work.

Each actor will have the opportunity to work their scene multiple times with the goal of tapping into the connection between the actor's craft-driven and artistic parts of the mind. Peter believes that acting is inherently an “athletic” experience. As such, if everyone is doing their job, the actor should leave the class with the feeling of having put their artistic muscles through the “kick-ass workout” the name implies. >> Actors may bring their own material, or material will be provided them. If you'd like to find a partner, see ROSTER in My Current Workshops after you register.

FEEDBACK FROM RP MEMBER MATTHEW C: In a single workshop with Peter, I felt I learned more about myself as an actor and took home something spectacular. Certainly Peter's scene direction manages to significantly change the dynamics and intensity of the scene. People can spend ridiculous amounts of money on acting classes that may not even give them the tools they need in a cold auditioning environment. Not at all the case here.

**** NON-MEMBERS: TO REGISTER or for further info:
1. Call Peter Holden at 626-354-4732.
2. Leave your name and phone number.
3. Peter will call you back to discuss your needs and schedule a date.
4. Please bring a check or money order made out to Reel PROs.

* PERSONAL COACHING: GIVE AUDITIONS & PERFORMANCES YOUR BEST SHOT ***

For Members and Non-Members

$50/hour - Your Choice of Time and Day

Do you have an audition you're not quite sure how to handle? An upcoming shoot or theatrical performance that needs work? Specific issues to solve privately? And are you having a hard time finding a coach at the last minute? Then RP can help! We now offer PERSONAL COACHING Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm in hour-long blocks, at just $50 an hour and your choice of date/time (see below for registration info).

The coaching will be done by RP’s very popular “Kick-Ass Workout” instructor Peter Holden (IMDB.COM). Peter has been an actor for 30+ years, a top coach for over a decade and Producer/Co-Owner of the film production company Rat Bastard Productions. As an actor he has worked in over 30 films, 40 TV episodes and 40 plays in top theatres across the world. As a teacher and coach he has worked with all experience levels and developed a style of teaching that takes the best of Stanislofsky, Hagen and Chekov and applies it to a specific piece/audition with character being the base, and the core questions of scene development - RISE (Relationship, Intention, Stakes and Environment) - as the building blocks.

FEEDBACK BY PETER'S STUDENTS:
Cutter Garcia
"Having had the chance to work with Pete Holden in personal coaching sessions, I can't praise him enough. He gets to the point quickly, doesn't waste any time and helps you find the character yourself (as opposed to dictating one to you). His efforts are well worth the time and money spent and this service is a great one."
Phillipe Simon "If actors didn't need directions there would be no directors on set. To have had the opportunity to work with Peter, preparing for an audition or a shoot, has been a very beneficial experience. And his knowledge of the production side of things helps him guide me toward achieving my goal and getting the job. I highly recommend him."

Members and Non-Members, TO REGISTER or for further info:
1. Call Peter Holden at 626-354-4732.
2. Leave your name and phone number.
3. Peter will call you back to discuss your needs and schedule a date.
4. MEMBERS: Either bring a check or money order made out to RP (please no cash), or tell Peter you want your credit card on file with RP to be charged instead.
5. NON-MEMBERS: Please bring a check or money order made out to Reel PROs.
